On a mission to foster a greater appreciation for fashion, design and culture in Pittsburgh, the fashionably chic students of CMU launched the second installment of their online publication-- d'Arte.

Launched during homecoming weekend, the second issue of d'Arte pokes fun at the "nerdy" and "geeky" connotations often associated with the CMU student body. But be sure to note that behind those "nerds" and "geeks" on campus, lies desire for education, innovation and artistic exploration.

In her Letter from the Editor, Efi Turkson says, "our issue will delve into the destruction of stereotypes that accompanies our status as a highly ranked university. We want to show that even though we are all intelligent individuals who are passionate about our varying interests, we do not fit into a box."
