partners_adToday CBS announced a new comedy called "Partners," which bears a striking resemblance to the short-lived, under-rated Fox comedy "Partners" that aired during the 1995-96 TV season.

CBS will keep "The Good Wife" on Sunday and move "Two and a Half Men" to Thursday after "The Big Bang Theory" this fall.

Credit PBS for thinking more strategically even if their timing isn't great. In an effort to be treated more like a broadcast network, the public broadcaster announced its fall programming plans today right in the teeth of commercial networks' upfront week.

It probably makes sense from a strategic point of view but I think they'd get more attention if they'd have done this last week just before the network upfront or next week after it's done.

As upfront week continues, ABC unveiled a fall schedule that puts "Revenge" in the Sunday night "Desperate Housewives" time slot and builds a comedy block at 8 p.m. Friday opposite an NBC comedy block.

Fox announced a fall schedule that moves "Glee" to Thursday night and pairs "Touch" with "Fringe" on Friday. There's a two-hour comedy block on Tuesday and ... that's about it. When you're top dog, as we've learned from CBS, there's not much you need to change.
