For the past two years, NBC has used a week in December to air "The Sing-Off." But with that show becoming a regular series this fall, the network sought out something new. But it might seem a little borrowed to some viewers with reliable memories.
"Who's Still Standing?" (8 p.m. Monday through Thursday next week, WPXI) brings to mind last year's Fox game show "Million Dollar Money Drop," but instead of dropping money down a shoot, "Still Standing" drops contestants through a trap door if they get the answer to a trivia question wrong.
The hero contestant stands at the middle of the stage with 10 people in a circle around the hero. The hero and other players all stand on trap doors. Once one of them gets a question wrong, the trap door opens.

Give "Who's Still Standing?" credit for moving quickly but it's concept is not exactly new. Read more after the jump. ...
GSN already did a trap door game show with "Russian Roulette" in 2002, which itself has aired around the world.
The set, though smaller, even looks pretty similar to the "Who's Still Standing?" set as you can see in this YouTube video that compiles a bunch of contestants getting dropped:
