At a press conference last month, Milan said the show's new season is focused on making humans understand how he plays the role of instability in a dog's life, from an abundance of affection and not enough exercise to vocal tone.
"It's not what you say," he said, "it's how you say it."

Milan saidhe learned an important lesson from his grandfather when growing up on a farm in Mexico: Never work against Mother Nature."You must earn [a dog's] trust, earn their respect, and they're going to give you something beautiful that's called loyalty," he said. "That's what I had heard at an early age. So that made me feel calm, and so the dog feels calm, or the chicken. ... Animals don't follow unstable pack leaders. Only humans follow unstable pack leaders. You can't buy integrity in the animal world.
"My clients nowadays are billionaires," he continued. "My clients are Harvard graduates, but they can't walk a chihuahua. So no matter how smart you are in the human world, if you understand who you are in the animal world, it allows you to have conversation with nature. And that's pretty much the bottom line. Life is simple. We make it complicated."
