blog-equality-btn-2011Today is Pittsburgh Blog for Equality Day 2011. And no, this isn't just about the gay community. It's about you, me, your family, friends and anyone else you may know, or may not know who has been treated differently for a reason they shouldn't have been.

To read more about what equality means, read here, and be sure to check out the other links of blogs who offer their own commentary on why it's important to stand up and let your voice be heard.

Recognize your brothers and sisters today -- and every day.

Oh, brave, faceless and anonymous souls who left me the ratings of "one" dot, might thee come forward and speak thy names?

Seriously folks, I love the ratings. It means you're reading, and if you don't like what I've written for whatever reason, I'm not going to lose sleep over it. But why don't you take the time to explain why you didn't care so much for this post? Helps me with demographics, you know.

This isn't much higher on the Darwin chain than leaving a bag of flaming (BLEEP) on someone's doorstep and running. smilies/grin.gif
